During this time of uncertainty we are getting inspired by so many brilliant new ideas and trends it’s difficult to choose just one to focus on! This being said, we have chosen the colour black for this series of inspiration..
BLACK CONCRETE LOOKS
If you are looking for a black inspired kitchen surfaces you should definitely take a look at the options from marbleandstone.ae. This is rugged concrete was influenced by the rustic finishes and industrial-style materials. The material used in the image above is a manufactured quartz surface which is appropriate for all types of kitchen, it is non-porous, simple to clean and needs no further finishing. This type of kitchen surface would work with a tough concrete matt floor tile from our Battersea collection.
BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL
We know what you may be thinking “an all-black kitchen will look too dark and overcast”. However we have provided you with an excellent example of how white walls and tall windows create a light and spacious space – notwithstanding the black surfaces. Please see our tile collections as we believe that these are definitely the future of kitchens – we suggest our Limestone effect porcelain floor tiles from our Aegena collection as a suitable match.
Black taps are pretty impressive and very on trend. You could go for a rounded or squared-off version or even go for a version that has a pull-out hose – we find that these are great for rinsing. We love that the black trend can now be fully embraced – not only with tiles, paint and cabinetry, but with taps and accessories too. If you’re on the hunt for a black sink, take a look at our sink collection.
